Reuters: Master/Slave most offensive
According to this
story from Reuters, "Master/Slave" is the most offensive bit of politically incorrect terminology. Master/slave refers to primary and secondary computer parts, like harddrives, as they're configured inside your computer.
The list goes on to name a bunch of other politically incorrect phrases and provides alternatives. It suggests "progressive" should be used in place of "classical liberal".
Does the author not know what a classical liberal is? It isn't exactly a progressive. Contemporary liberalism is more in line with what most people think of "progressives" as. Classical liberals are more in line with today's libertarians.
